I know, I know...

I'm WAY overdue for a post on here. Work has been busy during the week and come weekend I'm busy with household things. By the end of it I have no motivation to sit on the laptop and update but I'm finally making myself because it's been almost 2 months since the last one!

With that said, we are moved in! Honestly I can't remember what day exactly we began sleeping in here but it was around May 15th and I can't even express how wonderful it is to be out of the RV! The cats are getting into less things and are more chilled out as well now that they have room to run around when they want. Running up and down the stairs is definitely helping their waist lines!

We never did dig the trench for the water lines as I said I was hoping we would at the last post and we still haven't. So how are we getting water you ask? Well, we had hooked up a hose to flush the lines and realized the water pressure was pretty darn good so for now we're still hooked up via a garden hose. Nate's been so busy with other things and since it's working we will do it later but before winter comes and things freeze of course. There's still a lot to do with the tiny house including getting the kitchen sink in and countertops on which WILL happen this week before everyone comes this weekend to celebrate July 4th. We have to paint the last of our kitchen cabinets, put up backsplash in kitchen, build shelving in the pantry, paint the pantry door and bathroom door, build cabinets and shelves for the nook under the stairs, build cat door, window/door trim and get/put up shelves in the kitchen and bathroom and of course....get metal roofing on! It's still a long list plus some I forgot but almost none of it is urgent except the metal roof and the kitchen sink, currently we are using the bathroom sink which works but is kind of a pain especially for washing dishes. With his brothers help Nate just finished building the front porch It still needs railings and steps but I love having a porch to sit on again. Okay, with all that said its time to shut up and show the fun stuff!..Oh, ignore the mess its still a disaster since we don't have storage built yet.

So, so messy!

I can finally shower at MY place!

I can finally do laundry without going to the laundry mat at 4/5
am!

Nate decided to put a nail in his pinky

Yikes...ignore the mess please, so embarrassing! 😆

Temporary storage in the pantry, eventually there will be shelves from the floor to nearly the top

Self time-out?

Something else that's exciting is that we bought a pool! It won't been here till this week and we have to prep the area where it will go so unfortunately it won't be ready for our party this weekend but before summer is over we'll be able to jump in and cool off on these warm days! woohoo! Well...

Until next time..

Tiny house is beautiful and so are your pictures of your surrounding area. Sending you both blessings for this new space and for your next adventures. 💗 Laura
