3 Days, 2587 miles later..

 ...We're in TN!

We've actually been here almost a week now. We left last Friday and arrived late Sunday night and let me just say....NEVER AGAIN will I drive across country in 3 days, at least not with cats. Everyone made it in one piece (amazingly) although 1 cat almost escaped! Thankfully she climbed under the truck and didn't run off never to be seen again.

This week has been busy with unloading the moving truck, organizing our bedroom in my husbands aunt/uncles home and applying/already interviewing for jobs but this weekend I'll have a chance to breathe and relax a bit. We plan to go to the property tomorrow and look/layout where the house will go and decide where to build our temporary tiny home at. It's work, but it'll be fun work which makes all the difference.

That's about it, I'm going to post just a few pictures but I can't write much as I'm at the library parking lot using the internet because its essentially non-existent at home and I didn't realize my laptop battery is almost dead, oops!

This is how Franklin hung out pretty much the whole time
NV Desert...probably my least favorite place. I'm all about the green
                                                       Western WY sunrises are beautiful
                                                            Eastern WY fires are not...
The escape artists...thanks brother-in-law! But he did rescue
her under the truck and had the scratches on his stomach/chest to prove it
We lost tread on the car trailer in the middle of nowhere
MO and had to call for a rescue. Amazingly the guy showed
up in less than an hour and had us on the road again quickly!
Ahhh...TN close to our new home...The next night there was a
ferocious lightening storm so we sat on the back porch enjoying
the last few fireflies of the season
