The In Between

 Since the subtitle of this blog is "And The Journey In Between" I figured the first post showing should be a *quick* run down of where Nate and I have been!

Both born in California, we met in 2009. I was newly 22years old and he was 23years old (nearly babies!) and were both at a mutual friends house. What started as me thinking he was a cool guy to chat with, stole his number from our friend after he left. Although I thought this would just be a friendship it of course ended up in romance and marriage. So here is a very quick run-down...

2012 - Nate moved to Texas and I planned to follow shortly...except..

2013 - I ended up getting a job in Asheville NC! I moved out there and he followed except only to Knoxville TN because at the time he worked for Trader Joes and the store in Asheville wasn't open yet. So we (mostly me since I worked 3 shifts/week) split our time between NC and TN. Finally, the Asheville Trader Joes opened and he moved permanently to Asheville with me. 

2014 - I know, not very long, we thought 'hey we think we want to start a family and be closer TO family so lets move back to the west coast!' So we chose Portland OR. Buuut, after 1year we realized Portland wasn't for us so we checked out Southern Oregon annnndd...

2015 - Moved to Grants Pass OR! Within 3 days of visiting for the second time we not only had jobs down here but had an offer in and accepted on a house! Everything fell into place so seamlessly, we thought we found where we would grow old and die together :)

Until we decided to move to Tennessee..... 2020
